What is photoshop?
Adobe Photoshop is a dominant editing software which has
full-featured editing tools to create digital paintings, and drawings which can

It was developed and published by Adobe Inc. for Windows and
macOS. It was created by Thomas and John Knoll in 1988 and since then it has
become an industry-standard not only in raster graphics but digital art as a
whole.

Tools in Photoshop –

Pen tool –
It helps in creating precise paths that can be manipulated by anchor points.
There are two types of pen tool- i. Free-form and ii. Magnetic Pen. In the free-form tool, the creator can draw paths freehand but in the magnetic tool, the
creator draws paths that are closer to the image, like an outline. It can be
used to isolate the background from the image.

Clone stamp tool -
Clone duplicates one part of the image on the other part of the image by a way of the brush. It is very useful in duplicating objects in the image and removing
defects in the image. It can be used in full or in some parts depending on the
mode.

Shape tools –
It provides variants in shape tools like rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipses,
polygons, and lines. It can be manipulated with the help of a pen tool.
Photoshop also provides its own tools like animals, signs, and plants.

Measuring and navigation -
The eyedropper tool selects a color from an area of the image that is clicked
and stores it for future use. The
hand tool navigates an image by moving it in any direction and the zoom tool helps
in zooming the image for a closer view.
5.
Selection tools -
The selection tool helps in selecting an image in parts or in full to edit,
cut, copy, paste, or retouching operations.
6.
Cropping -
The cropping tool helps in discarding a part of the image. It is widely
used by creators and designers to enhance their work.
